cheap dust extractor
Kmart is having a sale at the moment and have $60 off an Arlec wet/dry shop vacuum cleaner/dust extractor with 2 yr warranty. Is just $129 for 1400W 30l capacity. About $300 less than some equivalent machines I've seen. I've seen one on a router table for the last 12months so can vouch for quality - also got the last one from Indooroopilly
Have power tool plug for auto start/stop too. Cheap safety I reckon.

Arlec dusty
Hi Micd,
I have the same vac, bought at kmart about three months ago. I found it does the job for me(triton router and 1/3 sheet sander).
As for the $60 off.......well I paid the same for it back then.($129)

Not familiar with the Kmart version but I bought similar - Karcher - with the same specs from SuperCheap a couple of months ago - unfortunately paid $150.00 but it works fine.
I also have made a drop bin out of a plastic pool chlorine drum which goes between the vac head and the actual canister - saves on frequent cleaning as well as purchasing extra bags [$25 for 5]
