Bathrom Mofo Is Back!!!
well people here it is ive started to do the bathroom and rip out the sower and tiles . Tiles where falling off at the base and water was getting down underneath and behind the tiles lucky i stopped using the shower as my fears of water damage are correct.
Now is the hob part of the shower in picturee below CONCRETE I tried to break the tiles off but it was like hitting a brick wall. Whats the best way to remove the tiles and break the concrete hob down as my shower is going to be a hobless walk in shower????
Umntil next time

To break the shower wase up you will need an FBSH and a pair of ear plugs for the rest of the household and a decent pair of safethy glasses. A few good blows with the FBSH should break it up easily.
Alternatively hire a small jack hammer from your local hire shop ( about $90 for a weekend)

I often get given this job at work....
Like the other guy said.... get some ear protection... some gloves square mouth shovel... wheelie bin and the biggest motha of a sledge you can swing..
And go to a hire shop and get a good size demolition hammer with a spade bit so you can bust up whats left of the hobb after you have beaten it to death..
You'll get the idea once you start swinging, bust up a few on the floor first and work from that edge out. Like punching a hole in ice and continue busting out the edges to make the whole bigger!
Anyway its hard work but just go for it... you have to get in the zone....
