Default anywhere to out history of renos

    Hi
we bought a doozy (?) of a hosue re renos, owned by a couple of American swingers who thought home reno was about covering up not fixing - I mention swinging not for the titilation though that is always good for a laugh but because of what they did to the house to "enhance" their parties.

so we live in interesting times, ranging form "#$%^ I hate this house" screams coming from whichever room we are currently doing to "were n't we clever buying this bargain" when it is finished.

It is a large job - consists of a bungalow they added onto in the 70s then they added a complete 2 bed flat to house in the late 80s. - attached floor plan! The plan looks miuch nicer then the house! We intend to remove walls A and B to make one large family room (and toilet of course0 and remove wall C to make a large rear kitchen so whole centre of house is really 2 rooms. We also intend to make front dining and kitchen a bedroom and ensuite with walk-in wardrobe. But these are the long term plans - many many other issues to deal with first.

There are some absolutely incredible finds re how not to do it which we have overcome over time - is there a post here for showing the progress
or should I just use a blog?

I don't think there is such an area on the forum.
I'd suggest that you just start a thread in this section, and if the mods think it should be moved, they will do it.

Just do something like this. There's a few that are tracking renos, new buildings and stuff. Do a search for Jill's posts regarding their magnificent house they are building.

    Photos make a big difference

    Cheers
