    Default Swansdown mop

    Neil,
    (or other wise one.)

When using the mop to polish a oil finish how much pressure do I apply to the mop/wood. i.e. how much deformation of the mop at the contact point should I see.
I hate to work hard if I don't need to (or for that matter, even when I do need to)

Probably should go without saying mate, but try what you want to use on a scrap bit first till you get the hang of it. You can't really put in words what your asking as the viscosity of the product your using will ultimatly dictate the pressure required.

    HTH

    Cheers!
