Now this poo situation has possibilities. The worlds most expensive coffee is made from beans that have passed through a cat like animal.
I wonder how you would go making some moonshine out of corn that had been through a mouse and then a python.

Don't worry Wendy, my girls are very tame and they only bite if you have been handling mice and stick your hand into their cages before washing your hands. Something warm, something the size of a mouse, something that smells like a mouse - strike.
If anyone else with possum problems would like to help test the theory, please let me know.- Wood Borer

Well you see I think that what Scot has got to do is put out the python poo one night, log said possum activity and then the next night put out some other sort of poo and note the possum activity.
Actually, ideally he should try more than one other sort of poo.
He should alternate between the different types for oh, a couple of weeks or so.
Only then will we be in a position to determine the efficacy of python (or any other sort ) poo as a possum deterrent.
If it turns out that it works, welll then I'll be a customer for sure.

"What's that dear? Oh, nothing much, I'm just putting out some possum deterrent".
"Smells like what, dear?"
"No, no. You're exaggerating surely."
"Well, I'm told it'll make the possums leave in a hurry."
"What was that? You'll be leaving with them, dear?"
"Or, alternatively, you and the possums will be staying and me and the possum deterrent, we'll be leaving?"
"Well, if you feel that attached to the possums, dear ...."Driver of the Forums

WB, you better be very careful. Apparently pythons are capable of swallowing a little person.

In which case the possum deterrent will show traces of nicotine, red wine and fine wood shavings. It may be the cure for the common cold.
Would the Government put this new wonder drug on the discount drug register? Does anyone have a contact there so I can make enquiries for the sake of the human race?- Wood Borer

I wonder,
As this seems to deter possums, is there any chance it would deter mice?
Yes, I know one of WoodBorer's Pythons would do a better job, but that would get rid of me as well as the mice
No, I don't stand on a chair when I see a mouse , but I would if I saw an unwanted snake unexpectedly
cheers
