Thumbs up Service above and beyond

Just want to give a huge plug and heartfelt thank you to Gary from GPW (go here: http://gpwoodturning.yahoostore.com.au/ ) for service way beyond the norm. I recently stayed on the Gold Coast on holidays, and whilst there did a bit of shopping. Now I didn't actually buy anything from Gary this year but I did drop in and have a bit of a yarn to him and Gary was good enough to freight home a 30kg box of shopping for me. Gary's freight rates are waaay better than the excess baggage fees the airlines charge . Garry stocks U-Beaut products, CMT blades and bits and a lot of Jet machinery plus lots of stuff for those folks who like to poke sharp things at timber while it's spinning around. This is the second time Gary has shipped home stuff for me and it's much appreciated.

    1) because there's nothing to rent in Tugun or Coolangatta, and if he went further south than that he'd be leaving paradise.

    2) because he doesn't need to, he can provide all the gear and the service at competitive rates as you said :"Nice looking store....and website. Simple, clean, functional, professional." without having to leave!

    3) What difference would it make?

    Cheers,

P (Who knows why he's not further south!

He is actually closer to you than he is to me & I have bought gear from him on 3 occasions, one of the items was a Jet 18" bandsaw.

I have been dealing with GPW for many years now and have never had any problems, excellent service and on the doorstep in 2 days.
