    Default size notch trowell

    what size notch trowel should i use for my laundy in the tread below??

    i was think 12mm to build up around the drain to get some height ??

    also can i pick up hydro chloric acid from bunngings??

    and how do you use it to etch the floor?

    for floor tiling i just purchased a 10mm is that ok??

    10mm will be fine, just keep the trowel perpendicular to the floor to ensure 10mm bed. For uneven areas you can butter the floor and the tile for an extra thick bed.

    1 in 10 acid is enough, it is at bunnings, add acid to water not water to acid.
