    G'day Bluegum,

There's only one name to buy in whipper snippers - Stihl.

Forget those puny bent shaft cheapie jobs, get a Stihl. It'll outlast anything else, sure they're pricey but there's a reason for that and get the bigest you can afford one that's got the muscle to cut through anything because you'll never know where and what you'll want to cut through.

Also get a helmet and a shoulder strap with it.
I make things, I just take a long time.

    Default Whipper Snippers

yep waldo I think your right. I need a new chainsaw as well so it will be a stihl, so it may as well be consistant. The local dealer reckons he will look after me.
    Dave,
hug the tree before you start the chainsaw.

Bought my echo in 1984 ( I checked ) , have rebuilt the starting mechanism 3 times , other wise still use it weekly, well fortnightly, well sometimes its 3 weeks , but at least once a month and it still goes and does a great job.
