Question: Install new bathroom vanity
Hi,
I just bought a new bathroom vanity at auction and was planning to rip out the old eyesore and install it. The old one is a sort of L shape but the new one will be against the external wall and it's looking like I will have to retile them floor (old vanity went to floor) and retile the RH wall up to the vanity. I have a couple of pics below but a few questions from a beginner.
Should I retile the entire wall behind the vanity?
Should I retile the RH wall i.e. retile so its complete without vanity there?
Will I have to get a plumber or is connecting the unit something a beginner with a bit of knowledge could do?
What tools would be required?
What about waterproofing/sealant?
Anything else I should know/do?
All responses appreciated
Cheers
