Gary Pye
After reading about Timbecon, thought I was just toss Gary into the frey.
Needed a couple of odds and sods, went through the online cattledog which advises as to whether it is in stock or not, pricing and options.
Placed an order via email on MOnday, arrived here Wednesday nicely wrapped in bubble wrap and that impossible to remove without a knife tape.
This was express post, and we are outside the express post area so two days is the norm.
Same thing a few weeks ago, ordered a clock movement that was marked as out of stock but showed when stock was expected, received an email notifying me that stock had arrived and goods duly shipped same day.
Superb service I thought.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

At the risk of doing a "me too" post I agree with Iain.
I ordered a fence for my Jet bandsaw at 5pm Monday and it arrived on my doorstep Wednesday morning.
I've also had very prompt responses to emails as well.
Krunchy.

Just would like to recommend Gary Pye as well. Went down there yesterday to get some clock parts and was welcomed by everything I wanted being in stock (I emailed beforehand to check), good service, good prices (including a discount for the more you buy) and no faffing about.
Cheers
Dan

It's my home away from home . Always great service, just wish I could resist the temptation to buy so much .

Timbecon Are Tops
Hi all
Timbecon gave me TOP service when I bought my new TS and Jointer.
At the Adel Wood show the guy gave me honest info about the types of rails for the sliding panels...
When I ordered a coupla weeks later they were more than helpful...
Then turned out they didn't have the jointer I specified...
Know what they did. . ?? Upgraded the jointer to a long bed at a very generous discount price...
It arrived 8 days later by roadfreight (5000kms)...
Me and the missus just spent this weekend putting the TS and jointer together... 8 hours for the TS with sliding panel, and 5 hours for the jointer (83kgs bed weight). Both working WELL...
Only need to phiddle and phart about to fine tune them both.
WELL DONE TIMBECON - I'LL BE BUYING FROM YOU AGAIN...
Cheers

ditto with GPW. Wouldn't waste my time with the other crowd.

I have never waited more than three days from order to receipt of goods with GPW. Exceptional service each and every time. Very close to being the best mail order dealer I have dealt with in Aus.
DanIs there anything easier done than said?- Stacky. The bottom pub, Cobram.

Rang GPW for some supa glue yesterday, here today, a pity that there aren't more places like GPW and Jim Carroll's around.
Cheers
