    Default Cabinet Maker in Perth/Fremantle?

    Hello everyone!
    <O</O

We are just about to buy an Ikea kitchen (which we intend to fit ourselves) but wanted to buy countertops separately (and get them professionally fitted) as we have been told by many people that the Ikea countertops are not great quality.<O</O
    <O</O

Can anyone recommend a good cabinet fitter in the Perth/Fremantle area?<O</O

    Many thanks <O</O

    Hi KateP,

Suggest you go straight to a post former rather than a cabinet maker as you might get a better deal and cut out the middle man. Balcatta may be too far away, but suggest a phone call to Bill Sabine (opposite Moscada Cabinets) on 92404886 if you want standard 180 deg rolled edge. Very helpful chap.

Also work up your benchtop plan and send to Laminex direct - you will be suprised. Especially if you want Squareform edges. There are other cheap options for you if you have standard 600 or 800 width benchtops also.

    Cheers...DC

    Hi Damon,

Thanks for the reply. We want squareform edges so we'll definitely give Laminex a go.

OK, so call Laminex direct, they will send you a fax of a grid to fill out your benchtop plan. They will quote it up - if you are lucky at trade price (if you have an ABN) and will get Proform to make it on their behalf. They are the only outfit in Perth able to manufacture the Laminex Squareform - takes specialised machinery.

Your other alternative is Classic Form Doors in Malaga who supply the Egger range in pre made squareform in about 15 colours for about $60-80/lin m. Colours good for the price. They will cut to size - easy!
