Leave of absence from forum
It is with much regret that I inform you all that I will be taking six months leave of absence from 3rd July, and slowly, very slowly, heading up to the Daintree and back. This will be sprinkled with a lot of doing nothing, a bit of photography, feeding the fish , and generally conserving energy. We will be taking in a bit of the Atherton Tableland as we have not been there since 1966. Where possible I will look in from time to time to see how people's work is coming along and to view any blood sport that may be taking place. We expect to be back by Christmas .

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

I haven't yet received your Leave Of Absence form in quadruplicate.
As you are aware, if this form is not lodged 30 days prior to your departure then that leave is no longer available.
You can lodge another LOA but there is no guarantee that this will be approved.
You have fun now. Great area.

Absolutely no excuse. Unless you submit $10 to every member of the forum, we will find out the email address of your worst enemy and submit it every site on the net
Have fun.

Welcome to QLD - no visa or passport required - just good sense of humour - a love of the laid back lifestyle - an appreciation of beautiful weather etc etc etc...............
You'll be back in Sydney in 6 months ----- You will be sorry after having seen the light.
Enjoy ++++++

Bob38S - Hate to say it, but I am an ex-Queenslander. Left in '64 when I enlisted. Have only returned for hols and to visit rellys. At least the lobotomy scars don't show now.
