Default damp though shed concrete floor

    Hey guys,

it rained today for the first time in ages....I went down to my shed and noticed some damp spots on the concrete floor.

Would I be right to assume that this moisture as come up through the bottom of the slab?

It hasn't rained hard enough for the it come in any other way and I have a coupld of run off drains that would prevent water coming in.

I've been here for 3 years and the slab has been down for about 5 years I think....

First time I've noticed it doing anything like this?

Is it a problem and if so what can i do to fix it....

I'm no expert, but this sounds odd to me. Moisture shouldn't be able to soak up through the slab like that. Something else is going on there. My guess is that your shed has sprung a few leaks in the roof. This happens. I built my own shed and was careful and fussy about the roofing screws, but soon discovered a few wet spots on the floor that I traced to the roof.
