If that's true, it's not worth the 20 bucks.

Each 1/4 is 20 minutes (plus stoppage time, so can be up to 30 mins or so). There is a 15 minute break at halftime, so in total, you are looking around 2 1/2 hours. Given traffic leaving the place, and travel time to Knox, you should be there safely by 6, and probably quite a bit earlier.

What a win. I couldnt stop the tears of joy flowing. I still pop the DVD in at least once every two months Nothing like hearing "O`where from tiger land.... That would have been bloody awesome - 92k!!! half of em at full volume. My ears rang when I was at the MCG for the final night of the athletics recently, and that was no where near that number. As good (if not better) than the gladiator fights of ancient Rome- you get a feeling what ancient Rome was like even now - the crowds don't change much (or the spectacle for that matter!!!)

Stuart click here http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=matchvideo and click on Step 1 and click 1995 season then semi finals then go to third qtr. 13 minutes in is the first goal then its just jam packed Tiger power. Scotty Turner irons out O`Doneel in the 19 minute mark The quality isnt flash as it must have been filmed on Beta and dont transfer to digital but its still a good fix for when their isnt much else to do.

Had a bit of a rummage through those links Lignum, and as you say, some very nice pieces, but I'd have to agree that $4k for the redgum coffee table is outrageous! I'd love to know how he does it; marketing, marketing and marketing I guess

Its the Dattner name. Its a joke as his furniture isnt anything special. Just good solid timber furniture. Ten grand for a basic dinning table:eek: But he is brilliant at marketing. I remember about ten years ago he introduced the "William and Mary" range of table. So he aranged for the three TV networks to meet him and his new table down the Yarra and then proceded to throw the table into the river. Of course it made the news and when every one left the apprentices went in and got it out. What brilliant exposure

Hmmm, Maybe I'll make a dining table and have some elegant looking folks, or maybe Bert Newton & Eddie Maguire  have dinner on it on the lawns outside the Vic Gallery with a couple of scantily clad serving wenches....

Well, we ended up going to the Richmond v Kangaroos game at the MCG. The train trip from Ripponlea to Richmond Station went smoothly, and we hardly had to line up to get a ticket. It was fun, and the (somewhat sparse) crowd was enthusiastic and passionate, despite the foggy 8°C conditions. But I was a tad disappointed by how much the game seemed to play second fiddle to the advertising. It was just ridiculous. The huge screens were permanently dominated by about 75% of their area with advertising. The banners that the teams ran through were covered in advertising. The perimeter was covered in ads that changed over exactly in time with every goal, distracting attention from the game. So after going to a football match at the MCG my memories are of Vodafone, GIO, Milo, and Silvertop Taxis. That, and a $15 price tag on a chickenburger, chips, and a drink, will probably mean this will be a "once in a lifetime" experience. Maybe next time I'll drag my son to Jimmy Possum's.

Zen, when you got off the train @ Richmond, you should have walked in the other direction, down Swan St. A few good wooden furniture places, and a luthier. Plus good coffee at a few places.
