Moving a door
Hi
I want to move an internal door and install it in another part of the house. The house is brick veneer. Can I remove the old jamb and architraves and use them again or do I have to buy new wood to do it?
Thanks
Steve

I guess if you can get them off without too much damage, you could use them again. There's no law against it... yet.
Cheers

Gently remove the archs, then cut through the nails holding the jamb with a hacksaw blade holder (obviously after removing the door). She's now ready to re-install in a new position! Hang as per a new door install.
