    Default Night Grand Final...AFL

Have just seen on the news, that the old argument has arisen again??.

Should we have a night grand Final??

Me being a New Aussie.......only been here 15 years......
    and LOVE Rugby League,
but don't see bugger all of it down here:mad:          thinks a night Grand Final would be the way to go:confused:

The atmosphere with the lights on at the "G".....magnificent

The Bombers and Pies, ANZAC day match should stay the same as it's out of respect for the Men and Women who have served this land, and they
should be the ones to decide.....not the Management firms involved

What are your thoughts on this??

Since the television network that owns AFL also owns V8 Supercars, perhaps a speedway track could be constructed round the inside of the MCG and a V8 round organised at the same time.

If it was at night, it would be even more exciting if the lights were turned off, and the lights from the cars were the only thing illuminating the game.

I imagine that the linesman, or whatever they are called would all be killed in the first couple of laps, as would anyone chasing a ball near the edge of the paddock.

Eventually all the players would be killed or seriously injured, all the drivers arrested and charged with culpable conduct, the Seven network shut down, and the MCG returned to it's proper use a CRICKET ground.

If we could find some way of wiping out channel 9's coverage of the cricket at the same time, we'd be on our way to that brave new world Grunt is talking about!

    cheers,
    P

Gotta be day time for mine, love the tradition & the buildup, better footy, and my young kids get to see it too.

Hot pies for lunch, make up the handball target to hang off the clothesline & run comps all day, love it

...and the Maggies to put a win together, twould be perfect

    Cheers................Sean

Life won't be worth living without my Cricket and Footy. I suppose I can go down and watch The Romsey Redbacks take on the hapless Lancefield or the pitifull Woodend.
