Foilies are for those who 'beleive' that placing aluminium foil in or over your hat will stop 'THEM' from reading or influencing your thoughts.
Non-foilies variously don't 'beleive, don't care, or are hopelessly in thrall already

I am firmly entrenched in the point of view that placing foil on your head actually acts like a radio antenna and magnifies your brainwaves making them easier for "them" to read, so its a non-foily for me.

Only reason I'd wear a foiley is to prevent THEM from giving back what they have already taken - suckers!!!

There are really truly people out there who believe in this sort of stuff:eek When, in a year or so of madness, I installed Foxtel for a while, I had one chap who needed one of the little cordless phone extension widgets (to enable his digital Fox box to plug into a phone connection). He wasn't concerned about the cost or the aesthetics, his only question was "does it have any rays?" followed by an exposition on his concern about "rays".
Oh yes, he'd been talking on his mobile virtually non-stop for the entire time I was there.
Takes all sorts...Cheers,
Craig
