Last Weekend
I spent the last 3 days refurbishing a walled in front veranda on a Victorian House. Its quite interesting lifting up a roof 6" without jacks.
That is without the lot landing on you.
Then scrap 3 small windows and put 1 biggy in.
If it'd been a straight forward job and no rain propbably would have done it a day quicker.
Just remembered my pet hate about building was digging stump holes in heavy soil.
The next gripe is getting wet through when your only part finished and have to keep going. Glad it wasn't cold, (Though I was wearing thermals)
Anyway one crummy job outa the way.
Next crummy job coming up is repair another daggy wall and fit another window.

I am intrigued as to how you lifted it without jacks............ your "thermals" arent red and blue by any chance are they?
