Other woodie forums
Spent a while browsing other forums but none of them are a patch on this one.

I been to a few other wood forums and this is the most relaxed and fun.
I remember one in the states where every word is scrutinised by the dozen moderators that every sub-forum has.
This is also one of the largest and most diverse forum I've seen too!!
Love it.Have a nice day - Cheers

Agreed wholeheartedly.
I received more helpful replies in my first few weeks here than I did in all the time I was on certain other forums... actually, I only posted my queries here 'cos I was sick of waiting for answers elsewhere!
I'm still here. I'm not there anymore. Q.E.D.
(So it's all yer own fault. NYAH! )

I did a little looking around a few years ago for woodworking forums and I like this one best. I have learned to stick to talking about woodworking though.
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Well, the way I got onto here in the first place was whenever I was doing a Google search to find an swer to pretty specific problems, this was the site that came up. Can't get much better credentials than that for usefulness (then the jokes and personalities kept me around).

There is one other...
I use to frequent several forums.
Now it is this and one other. The other is a bit more formal and ridgid. This forum is more relaxed and I seem to LOL much more frequently here.
This forum seems to have the nicest group of people that some day I would like to meet, face to face. Perhaps, every one could donate some of those unused airline miles and..........

Pity all that cheap timber is in WA or North QLD and the power tool bargains are in Bunnies Sydney or in an unknown supplier in Sale, Vic.
But, then again, how else would you know what you'e missing out on?
