How to get matt surface finish
Hi everybody,
I have just finished a long bench and was thinking of giving it a matt finishing. Basically, i am not very fancy of high gloss type of finish (juz personal taste) as it gives the wood a kind of fakey look.
yupz, need help from the experienced out there.
how do i get water resistance yet natural matt looking bench.
C:confused:

Some polyurethanes come in a low sheen and even a matt finish. Just walk into a paint or hardware store.
Or use a natural look oil/danish oil.
CheersDo or do not.....
Just try on a piece of scrap timber first.
