Wood panelling
GDay all- i have timber wood panelling in my hallway of my Cal bungalow that was painted. I stripped the paint off and I know need advice about the best thing to do next.....give it a good sand and then polish it up with something? Any ideas?

Don't paint it with estapol! I have seen cracks in the panelling when this has been done.

G'day
I have done what you want to do and i used Liquid Glass not cheap but a brillant finish should be availble at bunnies if not a paint specialist

Thanks - am using paint stripper to get rid of the paint....am i at risk of loead if it is in the paint....anyone know anything about this?

No lead is not problem if your using paint stripper, if sanding or burning it off then yes.

thanks everyone....I didnt know paint stripping is ok if its lead paint. Anyone recommend any good paint strippers....the one Im using has that metho crolrine or whatever it is in it and im doing the stripping inside the house (with door open)
