Wood to metal posts
Whats the best way to attach wooden beams, joists, rafters to 100x100mm metal posts? Is it nesecary to thread say a 10mm bolt all the way through the post or could you just use a shorter bolt through one side of the post?

If its load bearing, a 10 or 12mm bolt(s) all the way through. If its not load bearing eg eyebrow battens etc, then batten screws would do.
Cheers
Michael
