G'day Bob
A piece of string is a long as the next piece!
I have been working at the otway gas plant and have been staying at nirranda south, bought a beut pedastal drill from the timoon shell on special.

Staying there by im working at the gas plant, im from melbourne. Yep in a farm house on 5 acreas, cheapest rent around the area for gas workers.
Have u ever been to that mill on the way to Warnabol i thinks its called smiths.

On a good day I'd say, abouuuuut,,,,,16 Fingerbredd . But, thats dependent, on humidity, fibre density, and of course....wheather or not its knotted .

theres another mill in niranda or thereabouts

It is exactly 3,405 mm long (at room temperature)

I just remeasured it and you are correct. Sneaky bit of string turned sideways. OK, a piece of string is now EXACTLY 3.792mm long by 3,405 mm wide.Bob Willson
