Which coating ?
Hi all,
I have a galvanised roof on our house and it is just starting to show small bits of rusty appearance, mainly ridge capping. We have 10,000 litre water tank which feeds of part of the roof and we are going to paint the roof. Can anyone give us a clue as to what it can be safely painted with with a view to not damaging the water catchment properties.
I have had a good look at Killrust Pewter which I think is a colourbond colour, and used this on other trim bits when I painted the house last year. What are the thoughts on this. It turps based. We use tank water for cold water drinking and use it on the Vegie garden. Thanks in advance and your help will be appreciated

I would much prefer to drink Iron Oxide than some chemical concoction..
At least its natural.
Is the roof leaking?

Some paint is made for drinking water suppl, and some isn't.
I think wattyl solaguard is ok for drinking water.
