Actually, when my head isn't in it I rarely cut myself - I only do that on good days when I am feeling overconfident (not often).
However, I wreck plenty of nice pieces of wood until I give up and go inside.

you should be cursing marconi if you were on a mobile telephone. it is after all just a fancy packet radio....
edision didnt actually invet electricity - he was the first one to utilise it though.... in a form that was useful - the light bulb thast did not blacken as the elctrons moved from one pole to the other, while he got the light bulb idea happening he was actually building a POWER PLANT!!!
.The first bloke to generate electricity was in fact an iti called luigi galvani in1786 who gen'd electricity using copper iron and frog legs, I $hit you not!, another iti alessando volta worked out how he did what he did and made the first dc battery in 1796.
just ask me., i'll tell ya straight! ya geese!Zed

Then of course there was Mr Franklin with his kite and the resistance worker Mr Ohm, who later became Postmaster General with the British Post Office.
This is evident with the number of official documents that still bear his name OHMS.........Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

This conversation is currently degenerating at a rapid rate. C'mon guys, let's stick to the topic, and amp up the amount of relevant information.
Seriously, if you are just here to post silly puns, perhaps you would be better off on the comedy circuit. You are all shocking.

For the final go one better:
The ancient egyptians developed electricity in the form of a acid/copper/iron battery called today the "Bagdad Battery" which is believed to be used as part of the eletroplating of copper for jewlery. The battery used lemon juice as its electrolyte with a copper and soft iron for the electrodes.
This is now concieved as mans first industrial use of electricity.
