Making T and G floorboards
Hi
Decided on timber flooring for the new house and was wondering how would I go about tongue and grooving a heap of boards for the lounge room. Want this room to be a bit of a show piece.
i was going to choose some really nice tassie timber boards to run through the thicknesser but am lost on how to do the T and G side of it.

One way that you could do it is to get a T&G router set. Like this
These ones are from McJing and are only $80. Of course there are better quality bits which will last longer.Have a nice day - Cheers

Of course the router table. Thats what happens when u post half asleep after working 18hr shifts for the last week.

Here in Tassie we can get flooring run for around $1 p/m,the boards are straightened as well as moulded,there must be a company there close to you which can do moulding for you.Just be careful that the timber is dry as you don't want shrinkage after the flooring has been put down.
