Default Trim for New Timber Floor

I'm just in the final stages of laying a pre-finished 19mm Karri T&G floor over the existing floor in the old part of house and yellow-tongue in the new part. This now gives a 12mm drop to the kitchen floor (vinyl over masonite), about 10mm drop for the bedrooms & office (carpetted), about 3mm drop for bathroom tiles and equal height for the entry hall tiles.

What I need is a range of transition plates (threshold plates), preferably in brass anodise, to cover the end grain of the timber (stop splinters and trips & falls). Have looked at Raven site but a transition of 19mm is 150mm wide (too big) and still doesn't cover the timber edge. Their RP27 gets close to what I whant but the dimensions are not right for all thresholds. Also looked at Lorient and talked with local Capral trade centre to no avail. Capral only had a stair tread plate - big chunky and definitely ugly.

Is there something else out there that I should look at??

When we did this, we had a biggish transition to cross (over 25mm) between a new parquetry floor and the hallway, so we had a suitable plate made by the carpenter from tasoak. It goes from the edge of the existing threshold into the hall, and on top of the carpet there. The idea is that when we lift the hallway floor, we just remove the wedge and join the new floor at the threshold. It's worked a charm. It was only going to be there a year or so until the second stage renovations took out the lower floor, but it hasnt happened yet, been ther for 3 years and still looks good.
