It's not only drummers that make a mess though. Last year at a gig the bass player decided to open his bottle of mineral water between numbers. Of course some idiot had shaken it up and he was facing me. Sprayed sticky crap all over the kit and his spare guitar. Hi hats are still a bit sticky to this day..."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

I found a music pyramid the other day: Here it is in order of complexity from lowest to highest:
- Dead
- talentless
- bass player (aka pot head)
- drummer (aka chick magnet)
- kalimba player
- tambourine player (aka hippy chick)
- Kazoo artiste
- dentist (aka Nazi)
- trumpet player
- bagpiper
- hurdy gurdy player
- blues harp
- brain surgeon
- Pilot
- Lead singer
- Lead guitarist
- Rhythm guitarist
The order of the last 3 depend on my mood.If you never made a mistake, you never made anything!

Looks about right except I would dispute putting the lead singer anywhere near the top.

Wheres mine, I used to have a following when I played lute, 21 strings and everyone thought it was great, of course you never tell anyone it's easier to play than guitar, bugger to tune though.
I was single too, that changedStupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Did you hear about the bass player who was so out of tune even the lead singer noticed?
