You don't need the tabs! Just sit down with the DVD and your guitar and work it out. If you don't get it quite right, the punters will never know and you can tell them it's your interpretation if they do.

they dont concentrate on the actual guitar... they show like a whole body and backgroung shot nd his standing side on...so it'll be really hard to figure it out... i'll try listening and experimenting if i cant find any thing else

What is that link?, I read music but I can't understand that.
Looks like a adaption of tablature but can't really figure what it's trying to say.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

There will be a key for it somewhere. 'h' usually means hammer, I can't remember what p is. So 0h2p0 on D would mean open D, hammer 2nd fret, p whatever to open D again.

Thanks, I was sort of on track, bit like identifying harmonics and artificial harmonics, some people wonder what they are when they see them.

Sorry, I thought you played guitar, harmonics and artificials show on the score as a diamond shape rather than the familiar oval, for memory the artificial has the 'stick' on the opposite side.
There are some very complex catalan pieces played entirely in artificial harmonic, designed to give grief to the player I think, I watched Julian Bream come unstuck with it once.
If he has trouble what hope have I got.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

No need to be sorry, drummers get all the chicks
I do (did) play but not anywhere near your level. One of my many regrets is never taking lessons. As I told my wife the other day (after I'd had a frustrating day in the shed), I'm mediocre at many things but not really good at anything.
I think I could have been a good guitar player because I have long fingers and good dexterity (although that's on the decline) plus a good ear - but I'm one of those people who never gets around to working out what they want to do in life"I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

I think P means "pull off". ie hammer on then "pull off".
It means pull your finger off the string....Last edited by RETIRED; 22nd March 2006 at 08:20 PM.
