Wayne Davy????? Anybody???? Wayne
Has anybody seen Wayne as of late?
The only reason that I ask is that it has been over a week since his last post and I fear that he has finally sucked himself into his cyclone and cant get out again ..... WHERE ARE YOU WAYNE?????Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

Cough... Cough... About time SWMBO heard me knocking on the Cyclone's collection bin and let me out!!! She probably heard me days ago and thought I would be safer in there
Seriously, I'm back guys! I had a small but very, very painful operation last Thursday and it has taken to now to be able to get on the computer. Nothing serious just some maintenance required on the old machine. You could say it has been a pain in the - so to speak.
So - whats been happening?Wayne

Wayne,
I hope you have a swift recovery.
You should make yourself a comfortable chair! Toroidal seat?

Wood Borer,
Thanks mate! As for the chair, what is a Toroidal seat? I have searched the web and can only find references to power transformers or nuclear reactors (don't want to sit on one of those). If you mean one with a hole, any seat with a hole in the center makes me cringe at the moment
On another topic, even while I have been laid up, I have managed to check in to the forum while lying in bed. Accomplished this via a nice little WiFi setup, one in my PC and one in my iPaq PDA. Very cool and handy little setup.Wayne

Wayne,
Yes, I was referring to a 3 dimensional shape like a doughnut.
You must have anticipated being bed ridden to set up a wireless link with your PDA. Or perhaps you gave instructions to SWMBO from your bed?
Your cyclone diagram in my shed prompted a mate to say he thought there is at least one ducted vacuum cleaner system using a cyclone. You should make one for SWMBO.
Get well.

Wood Borer,
The Doc told me i would be laid up for at least two weeks plus and it looks like it is going to be three! I attempted to go out for the first time this morning. 30 minutes in a soft car seat and I am paying for it big time (ouch).
As for the WiFi, i preset it up before the Op. SWMBO only knows how to turn the PC on - no way would she be of any help in the technical department - absolutely no patience
Regarding a Cyclone for the house - not gunna happen anytime soon. The boss likes her Vax in any case although she is impressed by my little toy.
Thanks again Mate.
P.S. Posting this from the iPaq while lying on the couch.Wayne
