I really don't know where you blokes find the time.
Between work, my family and running the local bush fire brigade, I try to fit in;
Beer drinking (actually this item should probably be in the above line)
Beer brewing
Golf (I live next to course so how come I only play 3-4 times a year:confused::confused
Four-wheel driving
Motorbikes - when I can borrow one
Cooking
Socialising with good friends with good food and good wine
What else do I do?? Surely my life is more complex than this:confused::confused:Retired member

My gosh you people are quite creative in your interests aren't you
I suppose woodworking can be quite creative so it's hardly surprising.
I on the other hand got left in the bottom drawer when creativity was handed out . Well maybe I inherited some from my dad - I hope so anyway.
Pre daughter I had more, but I happily gave them up to become more of a family man. So interests include.
Looking after and playing with our daughter - this actually takes up most of my interests now, but she is 3 and able to get out into the shed with me now, so that is cool.
Squash
Motor sport - Drags and hot rod/street machines- when I can afford it I will participate but for now it is spectator only.
Gardening
Cooking
Reading
T-shirt painting/printing
Will be keeping this thread in mind when I have time for new interests as there are a lot of great ones here.Cheerio.

Obsessions
1st-Motorcycles started when I was five, raced motorcross for years, dragged and circuited my roadbikes after puddlejumper injuries got to me
2nd-Cars this was not by accident, I was always interested, my Dad had a '34 ford F head in the style of the 60s, during the 60s, whan I was 13 he had a HJ with 7.2 litres of chev B Block, and always had modded holdens somewhere around (he even went to town on an X6 tasman once)
My Surrounds, the scrub, the bush, the stix, out the country whatever you want to call it
Then Girls and I believe this one follows you to the grave.
past fleeting interests
Guns-high velocity smallbore in particular any better than4000fps in .224 cal is a buzz.
Hunting/tracking outwitting wild animals.
Long distance running
debating & public speaking
Unionism
Confrontation and arguing(naturally annoying anyway so why not build on your strengths )
Writing, only ever had one published, ironically an obit for a young mate, but we all were at the time, slowed my bike riding down for a while.
squash tennis & basketball, at which I was (a) too bulky (b) too Unco (c)too short & I sucked at them anyway, but had fun nonetheless
Body strengthening and physically pushing the boundaries, took this real serious for a long while, including some martial arts and boxing for fun.
Did I mention Motorcycles
Metalworking
Mountain biking
4WDs (esp when the boss pays )
Of and on all my life has been Dogs and timber & woodworking, again inherited from my Dad
Current fascinations
My family, Kids are the best thing for keeping you anchored and young
Motorcycles (now they've got the bug too )
Competitive BMX, wait till you see a 5 yr old at 25-30 kph on a BMX track, then the AA pros' at 45 kph thunder past, talk about skill:eek:
Of course our Mutts .
Lifelong pastimes.
being literally a smartarsk, trivia, information junkie, logical deduction, using my brain to try & outwit other smartbums
Did I happen to mention a passing obsession with motorcycles?
I'm pretty fond of the human race in general, and a few individuals in particular.Bruce C.
catchy catchphrase needed here, apply in writing to the above .
