Shrove tuesday, is nothing to do with the sepos, it is more to do with the vatican..... this is the last day before lent, so shrove tuesday was to use up all the stuff that you werent supposed to eat during lent.
That makes tomorow ash wednesday (and that is nothing to do with a large bushfire)I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

In France generally, and in Normandy more specifically, there are many "Creperies", as they are know, that sell nothing but crepes (aka pancakes) - but with a wide variety of fillings / toppings from spicy through to sweet. Very, very Yummy!
