walnut crystals, anyone use em?
has anyone here used walnut (vandyke) crystals, and what were the results...can a deep rich antique brown be achived and is it a good product or a pain in the but...

Colour's quite good, natural not like some spirit stains. One problem is being water based you need to lightly sand after applying which can remove the stain on edges. However on antiquey things this can be an advantage as it looks authentic.
