Great to meet Tikki, thought you were shorter though
Did Mr Woodborer behave in the car???? (the mystery and intrigue part)
Thanks Scooter for taking us all over, Rob for showing us the gear again on the way home (planes etc etc, you evil thinking lot), Sturdee was dissapointing though, no new jigs to show us, hiss boo, next time please
Also thanks to Rob for the Cascade light at his place, got the foul taste of that imitation beer out of my mouth, left 2 or 3 at Al's, enjoy mate
Was a good day and should be more of them, sorry, forgot, great to meet Groggy for the first time.
Tikki should almost be home by now, look for the glare of stoppers head and you will know you are near PenolaStupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Evenin' all
As you've already heard, an excellent day was had by all.
Iain & your truly travelled in to Camberwell, collected WB & Auld Bassoon and made our way up to Al's palacious (sp? salacious ? ) abode, duly identified as such by the pressed Alfoil post surround out front
There we encountered the Foilmaster himself, an interstate interloper (Tikki), Groggy, Gumby, & Sturdee.
A fair degree of gasbaggery then took place, examinations of tools and wood, donations of computer peripherals (thanks Greg and Gumby !), and moderate consumption of cool beveridges in the baking Victorian sunshine (it was after 12.00 NZ time according to chief timekeeper Gumby ). Gumby, in between beveridges , gave us a dekko at the new Triton ROS, and due consideration was given (later) to giving it a torture test by working over Al's BBQ hotplate  Fortunately, sanity prevailed on that last point.
Tikki was clearly awestruck at the quality of handsome woodworkers in our fair state, and vowed to return soon (next time she ducks over here to buy a litre of milk ).
Al fired up the barbie and duly incinerated bangers, chops, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, and mushrooms (yum!). All served up with noodle, potato, and tossed salads ! What a spread ! Tucker was grouse, and bellies filled.
More gasbagging ensued, then a squizz at Al's shed & tools, oh - not to forget the earlier displays of Al's erotic taste in walking sticks and blackwood slabs
Gra arrived shortly before we left; then we all bade the Foilmaster adieu and hit the road. WB navigated us down to the Western Ring Rd where we waved Tikki off, then continued to WB's house in C'well.
Rob shouted us a cuppa/coldie/chinwag, and an admiring eye was cast over his workshop and tools, partic. the LN ironware .
Back in the Scootermobile and home james.
Thanks again Al for hosting a terrific day
Pic L-R Tikki, Gumby, Groggy, Iain, Sturdee, WB, Al, and Auld Bassoon.
Cheers..................Sean

I cant help but be amazed at the simalarity between Gumby and his more infamous counterart T.S.Gumby. Get Gumby to put his white hankie back on his head and they would pass for twins:eek:
