hardipanel suppliers in sydney at reasonable cost

bunnings has 15mm hardipanel at 15-20% more than an online building materials supplier tradeconnect.com.au but the online guys take some days to deliver depending on available supplies.

Anyone know where I could hardipanel off the shelf at a reasonable cost this weekend in sydney ?

If its the same stuff on the net as Bunnings sell, print out the web page with the price and get Bunnings to price match less 10%, then you get it cheaper again, dont have to wait and stick one up Bunnings for claiming to be the cheapest but rarely coming through.

I actually did buy some sheeting for a deck I was building from Trade Connect (www.tradeconnect.com.au) - I ordered and paid for the goods online on the Tuesday afternoon whilst doing a quote for another job and had the sheets delivered on the Wednesday at 9:00am - bloody heavy stuff too - no way Bunnings could match their price and NO WAY was I gonna bother picking it up (doubt they would have had the 14 sheets in stock anyway) when it was delivered for 60 bucks.

I think Trade Connect are doing a good job sticking their neck out and offering an online service - pricing etc where nobody else could bother. I use 'em all the time for quoting.

Ive been tempted to order through them many times
but not taken the plunge.

Next time i'll give them a go . tThe prices for most things are
much less than most building suppliers I've contacted

Hi Econ

There are a couple of suppliers in Sydney that do better than the internet site.

If you log onto the trading post you will generally find advert fro them ones in Harris Park another operates in Fairfield East and also someone in St Mary's. They all take your order over the phone and deliver the next day.

You can also try the Independent Plaster Board guys at Moorebank but remember they are in the main selling a WA product and I have found some of the product is somewhat less than I expected.
