An open appeal to bitingmidge
Midge mate,
Love your work, but could you possibly, and I mean this with the greatest deal of respect, LOSE THAT BLOODY FLYING GNAT!! ??
Fair dinkum, it's worse than Grunt's giraffe.
Yours hopefully,
Craig

Craig,
(and anyone else who cares!)
A few weeks ago I was horrified to find that there's been a little glitch in the old Midge Avatar which caused it to read a couple of frames at a time in some IE for Windoze browsers. I was even more horrified to find that this has been going on for ever!!
So, I fixed it, only to find that I am no longer allowed to upload animated gifs.
So, I thought....... and I thought......... and I thought .......... and discovered I can still link to animated gifs, and after spending so much time teaching the little gnat to do tumble turns, I though..."Why not?" Just for a week you see.
After Sunday, well it'll get replaced by the new apology, and we can all live happily ever after.
I trust that meets with your acceptance!
cheers,
P

I can't see any difference, and all I see now is some black lines with a bit of red, same as before. No animation at all though I do see others. I'd thought it was supposed to be a 'swatted' midge!

No for the last couple of weeks he's had this annoying little gnat sumersaulting at the bottom of all his posts.
I GUESS the fireworks are an improvement.
Happy New Year to you too Midge and to everybody else on the board !

I switched off animated avatars ages ago. I live here in happy peace and tranquility.
Mine is animated though. Did you notice? Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.
