More junk emails
 Honestly, I get about 20 of these a day lately. I can't figure out why they bother. Does anybody respond to this stuff? Surely they realise it's counter productive to keep shovelling this crap out the door. I bounce it back but still it comes.
I don't get the pharmacy (viagra) stuff any more, no , just this loan junk.
Why do they bother  :mad:If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Because people do respond. 5 to 10% apparently. Responding should be punishable by death or a week naked with Nathan Buckley, depending on which one you feel is the most distasteful.
I never bounce it back because if you do they know that you're alive.Photo Gallery

I haven't had junk mail for years, must be some spam filters working out there.
I do get at least four pharmacy ones a day, everything from Aspirin up, but the ones that really get me are the ones offering the instant degrees from a wide range of universities.
Firstly, I can probably produce a more believable one than they can, and secondly it's been more than thirty years since anyone's ever asked me for proof of any qualifications I have represented to them.
Does anyone ever respond??

Grunt has the answer.
Never respond in any way at all. An e-mail address that is "live" is worth more to the spammers than an unknown one and it will be passed on.
It only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I get shed loads due to idiots attaching their address book contents to chain letters. I reckon chain letters are spammers ways of collecting live email addresses.
Anyway, if anyone gives me the richards by doing this to me, I sign them up with nasty/dodgy web sites.

Clinton,
Top idea that, but won't the dodgy sites eventually lead to a spammer slipping a trojan/virus to the dopes in question, which in turn will run the gamut of their OUTLOOK (shudder, why aren't MS products banned) address book, which in turn will find YOUR address, and then you just get more of the same, only you've helped to generate it???
Cheers,
P

Probably.
I keep updating my firewalls, and ghost my HD, so far I've only had one virus that stuffed me up.
So long as it makes me feel good its worth it.
Emotional, not logical.
