Can they do that?
Put a bid on an iten on Ebay yesterday (was first bidder) got an email to say the item had been withdrawn due to a "mistake" in the starting price. It's now been relisted at 4 times the price:mad: Can they do that? (Well obviously they can) Seems pretty wrong to me. Anywhere I can go to voice my displeasure?

eBay allows them to do that if they do it early enough. If I am not mistaken "early enough" means more than 48 hours before the auction ends. If it is less than that, they may still do it, but have to give other excuses.

I thought you couldnt make any changes once a bid was put on, obviously that is not the case. I guess you could email Ebay about it

If it was that super cheap there woulda been plenty of competition and the price woulda gone up anyway.

I have had an item withdrawn with reason - incorrect description. It wasn't as the same description was given two weeks later when it was relisted. If the system allows it then it will be exploited. Not worth the aggrivation of following it up in my case.
