Removing a shower base
I am trying to remove a polymarble shower base that is stuck to the concrete slab with tile adhesive. I need to remove it because the Termimesh basket beneath was slashed by the plumber while installing the S-bend trap. To reinstall the Termimesh the contractor needs full access to the boxout below. What a nightmare! These shower bases are made from a thin plastic mould filled with brittle concrete. Any suggestions welcome.

I hate to say it but the shower base might be a goner. Can't think of any way of getting it up without destroying it.
Can't he just bog it up with parging cement?"I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Cant or wont Termimesh repair the slashed mesh?
I would have thought this would be a regular request, with solder or epoxy?

Sure, they will fix the termimesh (for a fee of course), but this basically involves ripping it out and replacing it with new mesh. To do this you have to lift up and probably destroy a perfectly good shower base.
