Question Is this the new revolution in finishes?

A new finish has been developed... and its a silicone-based waterborne!

    Quote from the site,
3,500 YEARS AGO, Asia introduced lacquer to the world. Today, they have invented a water-based wood finish that uniquely solves the needs of the discerning craftsman while supporting today’s efforts to protect the environment. By abandoning the industry standard method of carbon based-formulations, the makers of UNAXOL have succeeded in finally creating a water-based finish that halves the VOCs of other water-based finishes while providing unparalleled performance and luster, exceptional ease of use, and outstanding flexibility and durability.
    • UNAXOL will perform well using all existing application equipment
with no modification to production lines.
    • UNAXOL will equal nitrocellulose lacquers in application speed
      and ease of sanding.
    • UNAXOL will exhibit the transparency and clarity of acrylics.
    • UNAXOL will provide the build and durability of polyurethanes.
    • UNAXOL will exceed all regulatory standards for toxicity, worldwide.
