Bah Humbug!! No animated Avatars for Christmas!!

So here am I, the day before the eve of the twelth day before Christmas, thinking it's time to dust off the old Christmas Avatar, and a nice cheery "Good Will Toward Men" message, when I get this message:

"You may not upload animated images"

But I can use the standard one of Bart Showing his bum!!!!

Can anyone explain, or is this just a setting that hasn't been changed yet?

I think the real problem is that Midge wants to have an animated avatar that tops Dougs one and he just can't find one that'll pass the censors.

I've heard that there's a secret place where you can say Bum though.

Perhaps after I've got a few more thousand posts up, I could go there and say Bum without getting into trouble???

or maybe I could get a wiggling Bum Avatar.

Maybe that's why they stopped me!!
