Spot fixing polished floor
Hi all.
I have a little spot (approx 20 cent piece size) in the kitchen where the polyurethane finish has been eaten away (no idea how!). Was wondering whether there is some way to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Bunnings sell Minwax Wipe-on poly which has a claim that it's good for touching up polished floors. Check out www.minwax.com (gp to producrts/protective clear finishes)
If it doesn't work , it's great for many woodwork projects anywayIf at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

a suggestion i've seen on one of the prof flooring forums -- mask the area to be patched with masking tape, apply polyurethane, immediately remove masking tape, so poly levels out.
did not have a chance to try it out myself though.
