Saw was knocked down for $140, so $178.64 after fees.
That's a good price per kg!

    I didn't buy it! )
There is seriously no room left in the shed until I get a new space (work in progress... as I can barely turn around in my current two double garages) and any big new machines are off limits. I've already got 5 project machines stored in my son's garage
I was just watching the auction to see what it went for.
Still at that price it might have been worth the 7 hours of driving with a trailer!
There a nice looking L.S. Barker jointer going this week too...

You sound like me - I am ½ way through a Wadkin PK Dimension Saw & Wadkin BRA Radial Arm Saw restoration so I have bits sprinkled across my workshop with no room to move or do any actual wood working!

I only have 2-3hr here and there so its been very start stop on occasional weekends - definitely something I question why I went down the restore path, mind you both saws were what I would call rough and need TLC at the very least.

What it has taught me is you can fully strip down a Wadkin PK into all it's components in ½ a day but to clean it up to bare metal, body filler, re-coat with paint takes a lot longer than anticipated.

For those that are interested the L.S Barker 12.5" Jointer that I referred to above sold for $425 +26% today
Interestingly the L.S. Barker Spindle Moulder with Power Feeder knocked down for $725 +26%.
