Villaboard thickness for bathroom
Is 6mm villaboard the normal thickness for bathrooms?

Yes, with the recessed edge for setting the joints.

In most cases yes.
If you happen to be tiling then check limitations based on stud spacing and thickness / weight of tiles. (page 16)
