Dwarf Mondo Grass completely brown after the hots days

Wondering if completely dead and needs to be pulled out.
Or maybe recover this or next season.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm a bit sketchy on detail for this plant, but as I understand it it is a tuberous root type of plant.

I suspect that the part you can see, is suffering from sunburn, as such, that part of the plant is dead. You could add some water, possibly in copious amounts and at the same time cut the dead parts away and see if the underlying tuberous part can carry on.

I would be interested to find out how you go as I have a place in our garden edge that I was contemplating putting some in.

It actually isn't a grass, but is instead a part of the Lily family: Ophiopogon Japonicus
