hi all, i have an old but reliable JD L130 with 48 inch cutting deck. the deck died the other day through lack of preventative maintenance. its actually the deck shell that went. rusted through in several spots until the holes actually joined up, i have to say, i bought it when the damage was done and knowing that i would need a new deck sooner or later. Sadly, i haven't got the cash to buy a 48inch replacement at the moment. however. i do have a 42 inch deck off another JD. This weekend i will try to fit it to my L130. Anyone done something like this before?
