kitchen cabinet hinges
one of our kitchen cupboard hinges has snapped and it had nothing to do with the teenager leaning on the door looking for snacks in the pantry. I can't figure out which replacement hinge(s) to get. The broken one appears to be a full overlay hinge and is stamped with "GRASS" and 220M.
it is from the overhead cupboard above the fridge.
is anyone familiar with hinges enough to tell me what I should be looking for? I'll add some pics at lunchtime.Last edited by ajm; 21st June 2023 at 03:17 PM. Reason: wrong brand name. corrected to GRASS

Grass is partnered with Hafele, take the hinge to a Hafele dealer e.g. Lincoln Sentry and they should be able to match it.

Have you ever found the hinge you were after?
I am in a similar position at the moment, and can't seem to find the Grass 220M hinge anywhere. Have been to Bunnings at least 5 times now trying different hinges with no luck. I have also reached out to Kingswood Cabinets, which installed the cabinets back in 2016. They stopped using this model and have none in stock.
Tried Hafele as well, and they were kind enough to send me two different options free of charge. Unfortunately, neither of them fit. I then went to GalvinHardware, but the model they mentioned (link below) isn't quite what I need:
Galvin Hardware ( the hole on the hinge plate are not in the middle of the plate, which is the case on the 220M.
Trying my last bit of luck here, before making additional holes everywhere to get this fixed.

I would need two new holes for the hinge plates on the cabinet wall, and another two for the hinge itself on the door, and away from existing holes...
In any case, I managed to find the Grass 220M hinges from Nikpol in Eagle Farm. Problem solved!
