For the titan freaks out there
Marketplace – Titan Bevel Edge Chisels NOS | Facebook
Probably 25% higher than they're worth but that's what all the market places are charging - bode prices... But pristine condition

Definitely one for the collector, for whom that price is probably very reasonable - there can't be too many pristine sets like that still available?! They look like "light, tanged" (136's) with decals indicating a manufacture date of early 1960s (from Dick Lynch's book). A very decent set for someone to start with, but sorta sacrilegious to mar such pristine 'antiques'??
I never thought I'd catch myself saying something like that... I once thought tools were just tools whose value should be measured purely by their utility, but I've mellowed a lot over the decades & accept that collectors have human rights too.
But I reckon if you were starting out from scratch, you would be better off "rust-hunting" at flea markets - you can probably still put a good, usable set of BE chisels together for less ~$20 each if you are a little patient & alert. Most old pre-WW2 chisels are of adequate quality (though I've struck a couple that were hardly better than mild steel!) and will do the job while you save up for a fancy-pantsy set. If you're like me, when you finally do get the set of your dreams, you'll find they aren't all that much better than your old bangers and don't produce the exponential improvement in your technique you expected.....
Cheers,IW

I did have a couple of glasses of bubbly (just for the sake of the day) but that was after I posted - I'm feeling even more mellow now, & thinking it's time for another tipple....
Don't think there's anything seriously amiss with any ferrules , Matt - there's a bit of variation in how ferrules fit with most makes. So just normal variation, probably. How much red have you had already?
