sealing around pipes in concrete slab
I haven't done a slab for a few years so I'm sure there are new things to learn. What's the go these days with drainage pipes coming up through the plastic underlay in a bathroom floor? How does one seal them?

Use concreters tape, the grey one and tape the plastic to the pipe then get a pvc flange Just a moment... of the required diameter and using pvc primer and glue, glue it at 1/2 the slab thickness to the pipe, its the accepted method to both stop termites and restrict differential movement (slipping) of the pipe in the slab.
The person who never made a mistake never made anything
