Feast Watson vs Fiddes HWO roller application water test
Decided to do my own test since I roll HWO and the tests that scottbr did was rubbed/buffed.
I rolled 2 coats for both. The FW is less viscous and probably has less solids so I assume it isnt as hard of a finish was Fiddes. It is also a purple liquid
Heres the FW

I denibbed after the first coat with 320grit on ROS with 5mm orbit on lowest setting and then denibbed by hand with 1200 grit after 2nd coat. The FW seems a lot softer than the Fiddes, reminds me of Osmo so probably could have denibbed by hand after 1st coat. I used to denib first coat of osmo polyx with 600grit paper by hand.
In terms of appearance/colour they look the same. They felt the same to touch too

With water on it:

After 24hrs:

After wiping it off:

So in terms of water penetration - after 24 hours they both look pretty good. I dont see any water marks.
The FW is probably softer. I also found it more difficult to roll on evenly but that could be because Im trying a new roller.
FW also only comes in matt, it would be nice to have a silk/satin version too.
